Nikk Nelson is a native of Dawson, Georgia and holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from Valdosta State University. After college and a short stint in the Bio field, he attended Proway Hair School from 2002-2003.
Nikk owned a successful hair salon (Pressed Natural Hair Care Salon) in the heart of Atlanta for 12 years. Currently he is the personal hairstylist for singer/actress Brandy Norwood, two-time Oscar winner Ruth Carter, Angela Simmons, and actress Tisha Campbell.
He has also had the pleasure of working with celebrities such as Vanessa Simmons, Olympic Gold Medalist & Real Housewife Sanya Richards-Ross, Actress Niecy Nash, Singer Yolanda Adams, Terri J. Vaughn, Teyana Taylor, Aja Naomi King, Kyla Pratt, Maria Huq, Porsha Williams, Toya Johnson, Adrienne Bailon, K Michelle, Mignon Von, Malaysia Pargo, T-Pain, Seven Streeter, LaTocha Scott, Tameka Scott, Kandi Burress, Tiny Harris, Yandy Smith, Serayah, and Robin Givens.
